"Global and Regional Sea Level Rise Scenarios for the United States: Updated Mean Projections and Extreme Water Level Probabilities Along U.S. Coastlines."

A virtual seminar of the Cascadia Coastal Hazards RCN, and co-sponsored by the CoPes HUB.  The seminar is open to the public.  

 

Speaker Biography:  William Sweet is a NOAA Oceanographer focused on tracking and predicting changes in sea level and coastal flood risk to support sound decision making. He leads NOAA’s annual high tide flood assessment, co-leads the U.S. Interagency Sea Level Rise Task Force, co-leads the U.S. DoD’s Coastal Assessment Regional Scenario Working Group and is a chapter author for the 4th and on-going 5th National Climate Assessments.  He received his Ph.D. from N.C. State University and currently lives in Annapolis sailing the Bay looking for signs of sea level rise.
